Finally, Cuttack arms smuggling syndicate's kingpin had his luck run out and was arrested by the special squad of Commissionerate Police from Bihar’s Munger area.

Police Commissioner Sanjeeb Panda said, “Several theft cases have taken place in some apartments in Bhubaneswar in the last several days. We have taken the cases seriously and had a brainstorming session with IOs, IICs, ACP, and DCPs about the cases. We have meticulously studied the video footage of all cases and common clues.”
ACP Tapas Pradhan said, “A white Bolero carrying ganja was coming from the Tamando side toward Cuttack. A team of police officials from Bharatpur immediately swung into action and intercepted the vehicle in which 73 kg of ganja was found in four bags.”
Twin City Police Commissioner, Sanjeeb Panda on Monday informed that the three peddlers hail from Jharkhand and the prime accused has been identified as Ravi Shankar Das.
The bike-borne miscreants intercepted Jyotiranjan and escaped after attacking him with sharp-edged weapons. Following the incident, Jyotiranjan has been admitted to Capital Hospital.
On the arrest of middlemen, ACP Amitabh Mohapatra informed, “We had deployed our staff in plain clothes at the casualty wing of the SCB. We have arrested five brokers and seized some outdoor tickets and cash worth Rs 1500.”
Laxmisagar Police in Bhubaneswar arrested four drivers for driving under the influence of alcohol late at night on Monday. They were produced in court on Tuesday, police said.
Twin City Police Commissioner, Sanjeeb Panda today informed that both the accused were nabbed by a team of Special Crime Unit from Pahala area.
