Well, here we bring a video of a man and a cobra which has gone viral on social media platforms. The video shows the man kissing the cobra on its hood very passionately. However, sensing danger, the venomous reptile suddenly turned back and gave a ‘love bite’ to the man.
After being stung by the cobra, the man threw it far away and stood up. Even other people standing nearby were on high alert. Later, another man chased the cobra to capture it. However, the serpent once again went into attacking mode after sensing a threat.
As claimed by Nigar Parveen (who shared the video), the incident took place in Karnataka and the man had to pay for his insane daredevil action.

In this tech-driven age, several vloggers are going out of their way to create videos that will create a frenzy on the internet. Some of the vloggers adopt such insane ways to draw the attention of social media users. Though such stunts are dangerous, people bother less about the consequences and land themselves in trouble.
This may not be the only incident in which the man tried to kiss the venomous reptile. Several such videos are streaming on different platforms that show the daredevil stunts of the vloggers to garner views, likes, and popularity. While some lucky persons escape the deadly consequences, some incidents turn out to be fatal.
As per reports, the family of Laxmi Bhumiya, a poor wage labourer in Nilimari village, discovered a couple of Cobras making the termite mound in one of the two rooms, their home. Despite knowing the fact that, the reptiles could bite them anytime, the family did not remove them from their house. Instead, they made the snakes feel at home, fed them with milk and worshipped them.
Laxmi, in particular, was very fond of the snakes and took special care of them. After she was married off, her parents took care of the reptiles and never thought to get rid of them.
Speaking to OTV, Laxmi said, "I had created a small temple at home to house the snakes. I took care of them and fed them milk every day. I never thought them as outsiders."
"I used to worship the snakes four days a week. But after my marriage, my family stopped worshipping them, but they still are feeding them and keeping the place clean," she added.
Her (Laxmi's) mother said, "There are two big snakes in the other room. However, we never faced any problem because of them. My daughter used to take good care of them. We have become old now, so we let the snake venture outside for food. They come back when they are full."
The snake family has become the talk of the area as some have even gone on to term them as fearless, daredevils.

The fad for cricket is so high in the tinsel town pitch that Glam queens have fallen over cric heroes including the lovely couples, Mohammad Azharuddin - Sangeeta Bijlani and Virat Kohli- Anushka Sharma.
History has witnessed several living cricket legends showcasing their acting talent in front of the camera. Continuing the trend, former Indian cricketer and left-arm pacer Irfan Pathan has made his debut in the tinsel town with Chiyaan Vikram's Tamil action-thriller flick Cobra also starring KGF queen Srinidhi Shetty among others.
Taking the glorious dalliance of tinsel town with Cricketers to a new pitch, Irfan Pathan has taken the action charge in the movie.
Cobra released theatrically on Aug 31. Though the movie has failed to impress a certain section of the audience, the hype for the movie remains high. While Vikram is seen in as many as six elaborate get-ups, the inclusion of Srinidhi and all-rounder bowler Irfan raised the excitement among fans.
Apart from the length of the movie (a little over three hours), the confusing narration was also blamed for the negative reviews. Considering the audience feedback, the duration was reduced by 20 minutes on the second day.
Irfan portrays the character of an Interpol officer. The cricket star, who shined on the field with his actions, has now impressed many with his onscreen actions as Aslan Yilmaz. Well, more about his character can be known after watching the movie.
Throughout his sports career, Irfan has embarked on several achievements. He overcame several barriers and emerged as the "blue-eyed boy" of Indian cricket. However, now speculations have been raised if Irfan will continue his journey as an actor and leave an everlasting mark in the minds of movie lovers as an actor or will fade away from the tinsel town when the flamboyance of several other cricket legends couldn't sizzle on the silver screen.
Here we bring a list of cricketers who have a close association with the tinsel town.
Sunil Gavaskar- Little Master Sunil Gavaskar starred in a Marathi movie Savli Premachi and also had a cameo in 1988's Malaamaal starring Naseeruddin Shah.
Kapil Dev: Though not in major roles, Cricket legend Kapil Dev has made silver screen appearances multiple times. Movies like Iqbal, Mujhse Shadi Karogi, Stumped, and the most recent 83, gave his glance.
Syed Kirmani- Syed Kirmani earned fame as one of the most accomplished wicket-keepers of the Indian team. He was a part of the 1983 World Cup winning team. Kirmani did appear as the antagonist in Kabhi Ajnabi The. Later, he had a cameo role in the Malayalam movie ‘Mazhavillinattam Vare’ in 2012.
Sandeep Patil- Sandeep Patil stepped into the tinsel town as a protagonist in 'Kabhi Ajnabi The’ and locked horns with Kirmani.
Salim Durani- Salim Durani won the hearts of his fans as he hit sixes at the request of the crowd. He became the first cricketer to win the Arjuna Award. He forayed into the tinsel town and made his debut with Charitra opposite Parveen Babi.
Ajay Jadeja- The handsome hunk of the Indian cricket team, Ajay Jadeja had tried his luck in B-Town. His charming, stylish and effervescent qualities had a long-lasting effect on girls including Madhuri Dixit. However, his charm couldn't show magic in the tinsel town. He stepped in the lead role in 2003's Khel, which bombed at the box office. Even though he played a role in Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas but this movie also turned out to be a disaster. Later, Ajay made guest appearances in a few movies.
Vinod Kambli- Vinod Kambli recently made it to the headlines after he made a startling revelation about his financial condition. The Mumbai lad, who emerged as one of the best talents, couldn't have a glorifying career on the field. he also tried his luck in the film industry, however, luck didn't support him and his movie Aanarth with Suniel Shetty bombed at the box office. The debacle put an end to his acting career.
S Sreesanth- S Sreesanth made his debut with a Tollywood movie, ‘Team 5’. His debut in the acting profession was as the main lead opposite Nikki Galrani. Later, he made his Bollywood debut with ‘Aksar 2’.
There are several other cricketers who have appeared on the silver screen. The list includes Navjot Singh Sidhu, Sachin Tendulkar, Javagal Srinath, Harbhajan Singh, Mohammad Kaif, Parthiv Patel, Ashish Nehra, Yuvraj Singh and Irfan Pathan. However, all these had cameo appearances in different movies.
Now, it is MS Dhoni, who is foraying into the tinsel town, but not as an actor. Dhoni will be producing a Tamil movie starring Thalapathy Vijay. Well, this is certainly not the end. The coming days will see more influx of cric stars into the tinsel town.
Here are three spine-chilling snake videos which have gone viral on social media, showing how these reptiles can be dangerous.
In the first video, a kangaroo is seen fighting off a python to rescue its partner from the clutches of the reptile. The kangaroo is seen trying its best to save the other animal from the deadly grip of the python. It is seen biting the snake and trying to kick it with all its might to save its partner.
The video is shared by an Instagram handle called wildlifeanimall which usually posts wildlife videos.
In the second video, a python is seen preying upon a baby deer while a hyena attacks the Python to make the deer its prey.
The helpless deer seems to be caught between the devil and the deep sea.
In the chilling video, the deer can be seen strangled by the python as the hungry hyena aims to make it into a sumptuous meal. The deer tries hard to escape from the deadly grip of the snake, but the attack of the hyena shatters all its hope.
Towards the end of the video, it seems the sly hyena is able to defeat the python and can be seen carrying the deer, along with the reptile to feast upon.
The video was shared by an Instagram user called ‘africanimals’ with the caption, "This is nature..." with a warning of being sensitive content.

In the third video, a woman was seen resting on a cot near her farmland when a cobra climbed on top of her.
In the video, the woman can be seen chanting the name of Lord Shiva to protect her from the snake. However, as per the caption of the post, the cobra sat still on her back for about a few minutes, before it crawled away without causing any harm to the woman.
The video was shared by IFS officer Susanta Nanda on his Twitter handle with the caption, "When this happens, what would be your reaction??"

However, after reaching the spot, the snake helpline members discovered that the snake had gotten stuck in a steel drain cover while attempting to escape through the drain.
With no other alternative, the helpline members took the reptile to their office. There, they put an open ended plastic pipe on the venomous snake’s head, to help it breathe. Then they proceeded to remove the steel drain cover from its body. The cobra was later released into the wild on the outskirts of the city.
The matter came to light after a resident Kishore Jena found the snake in his car. Subsequently, Jena called the snake helpline number following which its members reached the spot and rescued the snake after removing the spare tyre (stepney).
This is not the first such incident when a snake was rescued by helpline officials in the State.
Earlier this month, 17 Cobras were rescued from a Jagannath temple in Kora village in Patkura block of Kendrapara district.
The snakes were spotted by the priest of the temple inside the premises following which he called up the villagers, who then informed snake helpline.
In another incident, an 11-feet King Cobra was rescued from a pond in Pankar village of Buguda block in Ganjam district.
The cobra was trapped in a fish net which was placed in the pond to catch fish.
After the villagers spotted the King Cobra, they informed the snake helpline officials who reached the spot and rescued the snake.
Ganjam: In what could be a violation of the Wildlife Protection Act, a dangerous performance involving torture and cruelty on snakes for the purpose of entertainment during a Jatra show in Ganjam district has reportedly gone viral on social media.
The video, which was uploaded on YouTube on May 15, reveals a member of the show entertaining the public by displaying Indian Cobras and holding them in his teeth.
During the bizarre act, the member was seen revolving on the stage with two snakes and drinking water while holding the Cobras in his mouth.
Though the whole act seemed entertaining the viewers, allegations of cruelty against the reptiles poured in after the video went viral on social media.
“This situation would not have risen if necessary action was taken at the right time. People catch snakes, remove venom and root out the teeth. They then torture the snakes during these weird acts in the name of showing bravery. Such things should stop. The show organiser and the committee secretary should be booked first,” said Subhendu Mallick, Honorary Wildlife Warden, Khurda.
The Wildlife Crime Control Bureau had earlier issued guidelines and advisory directing individuals not to display any wild animals for entertainment purposes or on social media as it would encourage and stimulate such illegal activities. However, this act has raised questions on the implementation of guidelines and the inaction of administration to punish the law-breakers.
Meanwhile, Chief Wildlife Warden Sandeep Tripathy informed that he has directed the forest officials in Berhampur to take necessary action against all the culprits.
As per sources, the woman Rukuna Kanchai from Jantapai village in the cut-off area delivered a male child at Badapada Primary Health Centre, two kms from the BSF camp.
However, the health condition of Rukuna deteriorated after the delivery following which the nursing assistant referred her to the Chitrakonda Community Health Centre.
Getting information, BSF troops of COB Badapada and Janbai rushed to the spot and evacuated the patient from Badapada to Janbai by boat and then from Janbai to Chitakonda CHC.
As per the latest information, the condition of both the mother and the child is stated to be normal.

At a Press meet, DGP RP Sharma today said the Koraput minor gang rape is a red flag case. A case has been registered at the Pottangi police station under Sections 376 (D), 377 of IPC and Section 6 of POCSO Act. He said investigation has begun and stringent action will be taken against persons involved in the incident if the allegations prove true. But the focus is to first identify persons involved in the crime, he added.
Asked on alleged involvement of security personnel in the incident, the DGP said, “CRPF, BSF and CoBRA and police personnel often commute in those areas. Naxals also wear the uniforms of the security personnel. All scientific methods are being used in the investigation process to identify the persons involved.”
Meanwhile, a three member team of Crime Branch have begun the investigation into the incident. A forensic expert from Berhampur will reach the spot soon to assist in the investigation. Besides, an expert doctor will also be involved in medical examination of the survivor, the DGP added.
Meanwhile, the Odisha Human Rights Commission (OHRC) has asked the State Home Secretary and Additional Director General (ADG) of Human Rights Protection Cell to inquire and submit a report on the incident within a week. The commission gave the direction after five human rights activists filed petitions on the gang rape. The OHRC also directed that if required, steps should be taken to conduct the medical examination of the survivor outside the State.
On the other hand, various medical examinations of the survivor have been conducted at the Koraput District Headquarters Hospital (DHH).
Additional District Medical Officer (ADMO) Dr Parsuram Champati Ray said, "The patient is now in gynaecology ward and her health condition is stable with some minor stomach ache complaints."
Locals continued to block Jeypore-Visakhapatnam road for 33 hours protesting the gang rape. As per the latest reports, agitators lifted the blockade after Collector and SP reached Kunduli and held discussions.

Though it is still unclear whether jawans of CoBRA or BSF were behind the atrocity against the Class IX student, a high level probe is now being demanded into the incident.
According to reports, four persons suspected to be security personnel abducted the minor to a forest near Sorispadar village under Pottangi police limits and gang raped her.
"Four BSF jawans in uniform and weapons abducted and gagged her mouth and took her into the forests where they raped her. Somehow she managed to save her life and one of my aunt rescued her and admitted to hospital,” said rape survivor’s brother.

The incident occurred at around 12 noon when the girl was returning to her home after school.
The accused persons detained the victim and after touching her inappropriately, they abducted and took her inside the forest. Later they gagged her mouth with her ‘duppatta’ and raped her.
The matter came to light after a close acquaintance found the survivor lying in the forest. Later, the girl was shifted to the hospital where her condition is said to be critical.
Meanwhile, CRPF DIG (Operations) Ram Charitra has ruled out the involvement of CoBRA battalion jawans in the incident.
“After preliminary probe, we have found that no jawans of CoBRA are involved in the incident,” said Charitra.
Meanwhile, BSF officials have too denied involvement of their men in the incident.
"BSF troops are not involved in this heinous crime. The nearest BSF Company location is about 35 kms from the incident area. BSF does not operate in this area since it is quite away from our jurisdiction," said BSF in a press statement.

“Following the killing of 28 Maoists in an encounter in the cut-off areas of Chitrakonda in Malkangiri district, there is a possibility of retaliation by the left wing ultras. Hence as a precautionary move, instructions have been given to the Central forces especially the CRPF and its special CoBRA battalion, BSF and the Special Operation Group (SOG) of Odisha Police in undivided Koraput and Kalahandi districts to remain on high alert,” State Principal Secretary, Home, Asit Tripathy told media persons here today.
He said the IG (Operation), DIG, south-western range and Malkangiri SP are now in Malkangiri district headquarters. “It has been decided that the joint operation undertaken by the Grey Hound unit of Andhra Pradesh Police and Odisha Police recently, will be intensified further,” the Home secretary said.
He also said till date, the security personnel have recovered 28 bodies of the Maoists of which 18 bodies have been identified. We hope that the remaining 10 bodies would be identified very soon.
“As per intelligence sources, most of the slain Maoists are the state committee members belonging to the RK (Ramkrishna) Group,” he pointed out.
The doctors’ team took over an hour to make the operation a success. They first conducted an X-ray on the snake to locate the position of fishing nail inside snake’s stomach. Later, it carried out the surgery after administering anesthesia.
"We faced difficulties while conducting the surgery, but successfully operated out the nails from stomach of the snake", Indramani Nath, professor of surgery, OUAT said.
“Its condition is now well. It is moving easily. We will decide about its release after the reptile gets fully cured", Subhendu Mallik, honorary wildlife warden, said.
The snake had entered one's house in Boudh district. It had eaten two live frogs which were attached with fishing iron nail by the house owner in a bid to trap it.
According to inspector-in-charge of Sunabeda police station Jogeswari Behera the incident took place around 1 pm when the jawans were undergoing cross-river swimming training in the back-water of Kolab reservoir.
The 24-year old was identified as Rakesh Chandra Behera, a resident of Dhenkanal district, said police.
A case has been registered and investigation will be conducted to find out was there any foul play. The IC said.
The announcement comes just a week after the release of "Lakshmi NTR", RGV's film on the purpose of Lakshmi Parvathi in legendary actor and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao's (NTR) life.
On the occasion of his 57th birthday on Sunday, Varma took to Twitter to announce his next project.
"Ahem! On the occasion of my birthday today, I am debuting as an actor for the first time in my career. I wouldn't mind if you don't bless me. Thanks," Varma tweeted and also shared the first look poster of the film.
According to the poster, the film is a biopic based on "the most dangerous criminal ever". The poster also featured the line, referring to the titular character in the film. "If he's arrested half the police department will be thrown into jail."
In "Cobra", RGV plays an intelligence officer called R. In addition to acting, RGV is also co-producing the film in association with DPR.
The film also stars KG and Ranga Rao. The rest of the cast and crew are yet to be revealed.

The tragic incident reportedly occurred on 28 July 2020 when a person named Ranjan Nayak came to Krushna Nagar village where he displayed some tricks with venomous snakes including cobra.
But the dangerous game of playing with the reptiles went horribly wrong when the cobra accidentally bit him on his hands. The matter came to light recently when a video of the incident went viral on social media.
As per some eyewitness’ account, Nayak even urinated on the wound in a bid to cut the neurotoxin venom’s effectiveness. After tying his hand with a rope, he went home without seeking any medical help whatsoever.
When the spectators tried to help him, he did not listen to them and went on to apply some roots and homemade ointments.
Later that day, police recovered his body just a kilometre away from the village. ND Sethi, the Inspector In-Charge of Jaleswar Police Station said, “We recovered his body from the road and his autopsy revealed snakebite too. A case of unnatural death was registered in the police station.”
Falguni Panigrahi, a local said, “Resorting to occult practices after snakebite caused his death. I urge people to learn a lesson from this and seek immediate medical care instead of going to a quack.”

After the sighting, they immediately called the Snake Help-Line who reached the spot in minutes and rescued the reptile from underneath a bed-sheet in their bedroom. The snake was later released into the wild.
As per the reports, the five-foot-long cobra is suspected to have entered the house from the backyard following incessant rain that has been battering the areas under Banki and Athagarh over the past few days.
Sambit Panda, a relative of Sharat said, “My mother spotted the snake first. After entering the house, it went to the kitchen and finally went into the bedroom.”
“We shut the door and called the snake helpline at Banki. They reached our house and rescued the snake. I thank God that nothing happened to anybody and the snake also was taken away safely,” added Sambit.
Speaking to OTV on ways to keep snakes away in the absence of snake helpline, wildlife expert, Subhendu Mallik said, “People should always keep an eye on the snake if it trespasses their boundary. A 7-8 foot long stick with cloth wrapped on one end of it will be helpful in the absence of experts. Pour some phenyl on the cloth-end of the stick and let the snake inhale. The pungent smell will drive the snake out,” added Mallik.
However, Mallik cautioned people by advising them to exercise extreme caution while handling snakes and take help of experts.
