While the online application process for the mega recruitment drive is currently underway, the commission has issued an important notice for the aspiring candidates.
Referring to the aspirants, the SSC in its notice said, “They should submit their online application much before the closing date i.e. 08.10.2022 and not to wait till the last date to avoid the possibility of disconnection/inability or failure to login to the website on account of heavy traffic on the servers during the closing days. Candidates are further cautioned that no extension of last date for submission of application shall be granted under any circumstances.”
The commission also informed that that the Scheme and Syllabus of the Examination and Mode of Selection for CGLE-2022 is different as compared with that of CGLE-2021.
“The same has been given in details in the Notice of CGLE-2022. The aspirants are advised to go through the same thoroughly before applying for CGLE,” the commission stated.
The SSC further stated that document Verification (DV) process for CGLE 2022 will be done by the user departments/ organizations after declaration of the final result by the Commission.
“The preference for various posts and departments will be taken from the candidates through Online Option Form on the website of the Commission before declaration of final result,” it added.
The cut off marks have been kept lower in the fresh result announced by the SSC. The complete list of candidates is available on official website of SSC - www.ssc.nic.in.
Cut-off mark for the OBC category is 110 marks and 74,604 candidates have been qualified for Tier-2 exam under the category.
A total of 55,387 candidates in the general category have qualified for Tier-2 exam with cut-off mark at 126.5 after the revision.
In an official statement, the commission said it conducted a comprehensive review after the technical glitch and lowered cut off marks in the revised result.
Earlier, the SSC CGL Tier 1 result was announced on October 30. The SSC had conducted the CGLE (Tier I) examination from August 5 to August 24 in computer based mode.
Admit cards for forthcoming Tier 2 exam will be declared 10 days before the exam date.
The admit cards of qualified candidates will be uploaded on websites of the SSC’s regional offices 10 days before the Tier-II/III Exams. In case any candidate fails to download admit card, he/she can contact the concerned regional offices at least 7 days before commencement of the examination.
