According to reports, (Indian Express), the Bollywood beauty shot an episode on Tuesday (August 17), which will air on Television this weekend. In this regard, a source from the set said that the makers were waiting for Shilpa to return to the show. The source further said that the makers are happy that Shilpa is back shooting as they did not want to get another celebrity in her place.
Meanwhile, Shilpa received a warm welcome by the Super Dancer team, which made her quite emotional, the source added. Shilpa has been judging the Super Dancer show since it started in its first season along with other celeb judges Anurag Basu and Geeta Kapoor.
However, in her short absence, popular celebrities like Karisma Kapoor, Sonali Bendre, Bollywood couple Genelia D’Souza, Ritesh Deshmukh appeared on the show.
Refusing to clarify her stand on the case, the 46-yr-old actress said that she will continue to refrain from commenting on this case as it is subjudice, and requested everyone to stop attributing false quotes on her behalf. Shilpa shared that the past few days had been 'challenging on every front' and there have been a lot of rumours, accusations, trolling and questions to her and her family.

"In the heat of the moment I thought I was misbehaved by him but that doesn't mean that it was any sort of casting couch or anything like #MeToo allegations," said Elsha.
However, the actress admitted that she was mentally tortured.
On the other hand, Panda clarified that the actress was scolded for not focussing on her work but she termed it as mental torture.
"The actress has realised her mistake. It is not easy to complete shoot of a movie in 45 days. If an actor is not performing and is being scolded for that, can we term it as mental torture?" questioned Panda.
The matter had come to light after a video of the actress screaming and alleging the director of mentally harassing her went viral on social media.
The incident had occurred during the audio release of upcoming Odia movie ‘Tu Mo Suna Chadhei’ in a private hotel on Wednesday night.
Anything worth saying today is going to become controversial, so how shall we define 'Controversial'! These days we don't know what people are going to get upset about. We can't live with that kind of a fear. For me, 'Manto' is a very personal and intimate story of a writer. He is a man of free spirit, he fought for freedom of expression and I think this story is very relevant today. Out of all these, what is controversial?
"Dhaad' was a actually a Gujarati film in which I acted in 2003. We got into a big financial problem and were unable to finish the film. It's a pity that independent cinema has always struggled. The place for independent cinema is still very small. Through the ages many independent films have been made and I doubt if people can make those films today.
JD Centre of Art is something that my father started to bring together folk, traditional, contemporary and tribal art under one roof. To create an awareness and to sensitize people about art and artists, 12 years ago this film festival was started. There are films from Odisha, films from different parts of the country as well as international films. There is a good line up of films at the festival.
There are many Odia filmmakers and I meet some of them in Mumbai. I ask them, why are you doing sound work or editing or cinematography in Mumbai, why not in Odisha? They reply, Aagyan sethi kehi kichhi karunahanti (No one does anything in Odisha). Nothing is happening here so as creative people you need to satisfy your stimulus. If we as audiences truly support that kind of cinemas I am sure people will come up and I think things are changing.
I feel very strongly about many issues. I don't want to call these issues as these are things which impact me, my family and people around me. Stories of sexual assaults by Harvey Weinstein that came out in the US had a ripple effect around the globe and so many women started speaking up. So many amazing articles have also come out and I am glad about it. It is sad that in India not so many people have spoken out. Lot of people have reached out to me. I was never directly assaulted as I never wanted to be an actress. I came in much later and I was already vocal about various issues. So people were wary of me. The 'Me Too' campaign is all about saying that we are not isolated. Those women who have spoken up are not isolated. We don't want anything else, we only want to be treated as people just like men are treated. It's about speaking the truth of the society.
My father is an extremely passionate Odia. I meet Odias outside the state those who don't speak Odia and don't eat Odia food and I am quite amazed by that. They say that they left Odisha before they were 18. I reply that I have never stayed here but thanks to my father who used to take us to Baripada, our home town, every year, me with my cousins used to sing Odia songs and especially the food here is highly sophisticated. It really breaks my heart that people don't know what we eat. The number of Pithas, the vegetables that we use, the variety of sweets we have, variety of fish and mutton - we have variety in every single thing and yet nobody knows about it. My connection with the state is very deep.

I am deeply delighted to have come here for Parichay foundation. I am going to support young girls who are drop outs to get back to school and get educated. I also want to lend my support to the acid attack victims. Something that the acid attack victims face is unimaginable for anyone. It was inspiring to walk with them on the ramp. I learnt a lot from them.
I just came in the morning. I really wanted to go to Jagannath Temple, Puri and Konark. I want to go around Bhubaneswar and pick up some handlooms and other local products. I haven't got a chance to do that. Next time when I come, I will make sure I stay for a longer period and visit all these places here.
What I said was completely misunderstood. If anyone stands for female power its me. Not only that I take action based on it. I am a writer, a producer, an actress, a mother, a wife. I said that women should first be careful themselves. Why they allow themselves to get into that position. Of course men should be stopped. Of course they are doing the wrong thing and no doubt in that. There is nothing more to say about it. Its like saying the sun is in the sky. Important thing is that the women need to be careful not to go into the hotel rooms. They should not give that opportunity. They should report it to the police as soon as possible. Why are the women afraid! Why do they worry about their career! Just finish it there. That is what I said. Why do girls speak up after five or six years when they get settled and have a good career, why they don't report it immediately! Say it immediately so that these people will learn a lesson. Girls to some extent are giving them the chance and that is the reason these cases are happening. If you give a tight slap then and there then the story is over.
I have done a few regional films like those in Punjabi, Malayalam, Telugu and Tamil apart from Bollywood movies. I haven't done a Bangla or an Odia one and really want to do something here in this region and reach out to the people who love me here. I believe that some of the best films are made in the smaller market. There is a constraint in Hindi industry to reach to a larger market and there needs to be a certain level of commercialism. As far as writing is concerned the very first film I wrote is 'Chutney', a short film, and it was a big hit. Nothing more can be encouraging than this.

I seek cooperation from every member of the party to take forward the ideologies of the Prime Minister for building a better Odisha,” Mohanty said soon after joining.
“I thank all members of BJP for giving me such an opportunity to connect with the public. It is the best platform to serve people of Odisha,” the eminent actress added.
Aparajita had unsuccessfully contested election on Congress ticket from Cuttack Parliamentary constituency in 2014.
She joined the saffron party at a juncture when Bijepur by-election is just days away with parties preferring star campaigners to attract voters.
Earlier, three other eminent Odia film actors, Mahasweta Ray, Anu Choudhury and Mihir Das had joined the BJP.
A national award winning actress, Ghosh, who was ailing for some time and complained of uneasiness, was being rushed to a city based private hospital at around 12.30 am Sunday night when she breathed her last on way.
The body has been kept in mortuary as her son and daughter, who stay in the US, will be arriving soon. Her brother and noted music director Swarup Nayak, producer Bapu Lenka and several Ollywood actors rushed to the hospital to pay last respects to the departed soul.
Born in 1933 at Manasinghpatana in Cuttack, Parbati had made a mark in her debut Odia film 'Shri Jagannath'. Later, she successfully played several characters in films like Ámari Gaon Jhia, Bhai Bhai, Maa, Laxmi, Kaa, Stree, Sansar and many more.
Known as Chapala Nayak during her childhood, she was later rechristened as Parbati Ghosh after she married producer-director Gauraprasad Ghosh.
She was conferred with the national film award for her stellar performance in Laxmi, Kaa and Stree.
Other awards conferred on her include Jayadev Puraskar and Bioscope Award.
In 1986, Parbati had acted and directed the film 'Chha Mana Atha Guntha,’ based on the famous novel of Fakir Mohan Senapati.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik expressed grief over the sad demise of the eminent actress and announced State funeral for her.
"I am deeply shocked at the passing away of veteran film personality Parbati Ghosh. She was an icon and one of the greatest gifts to Odia cinema industry", Patnaik said though a statement.
"In the early days of Odia cinema, she single handedly uplifted Odia cinema to a new level. She was really a symbol of women empowerment when ideas like empowerment was unheard of. Her departure is a great loss to our industry and the world of silver screen. She will always be remembered for her contribution to Odia cinema," he stated.
Ghosh will be given a state funeral, the statement added.
Kendrapara MP Baijayant Panda also expressed condolence over the demise of the actor through twitter. "A versatile genius Parbati Ghosh has been a popular figure in Odia cinema industry. She will always be remembered for her unparalleled contribution to the film industry as an actor and director par excellence. May her soul rest in peace," Panda tweeted.
Several people from the Odia film industry, well-wishers and relatives rushed to the hospital to pay their last respects after the news of her death spread.

She was conferred with the prestigious ‘Jayadev Purashkar’- the state’s highest cine award - in the year 2000.
There was a false alarm last evening when a section of the regional media reported that the nonagenarian actress had passed away after battling for life in a private hospital here. The report turned out to be false.
Even Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik had condoled the death of Manimala on micro-blogging site Twitter. Later Patnaik deleted the Tweet and wished her an early recovery in a subsequent post on the social media platform to avoid further embarrassment.
The actress says if they don't stop harassing her, she will "destroy them".
According to reports, the Maharashtra wing of the Karni Sena protested against the film on Thursday alleging that the period drama "alludes to Rani Laxmibai's relationship with a British officer".
The outfit -- which led a long protest against "Padmaavat" in 2017 -- also claimed that the film shows the queen dancing to a special number, saying that it is against tradition. They asked the makers of the film to show them the movie before its release.
"Four historians have certified 'Manikarnika...'. We have got censor certificate as well. Karni Sena has been conveyed this but they are continuing to harass me," Kangana said in a statement.
"If they don't stop then they should know I am also a Rajput and I will destroy each one of them," added the actress, who has directed the film along with Krish.
National Award-winning lyricist and Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) chairman Prasoon Joshi has penned the songs for 'Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi" which captures the life story of Rani Laxmibai. Kangana will be bringing her life alive on the big screen.
The film, also featuring Ankita Lokhande, Atul Kulkarni, Vaibhav Tatwawaadi, Danny Denzongpa, Suresh Oberoi and Jisshu Sengupta, will be screened for President Ram Nath Kovind at Rashtrapati Bhavan in Delhi on Friday.
Produced by Zee Studios in association with Kamal Jain and Nishant Pitti, the movie will release on January 25.

Directed by Kaustav Narayan Niyogi, "Cabaret" is a musical, unique love story and thriller starring Richa, Gulshan Devaiah, S. Sreesanth and Gulshan Grover, among others.
Richa said 'Cabaret' has been one of her most challenging roles to date.
She had earlier told IANS that "Cabaret" is her "first typical commercial outing and I did it for the love of song and dance and as an experiment".

Music fills colours of happiness in their life," added the "Sapna Babul Ka...Bidaai" actress.
On her idea of music, she said: "The singer's passion is to create music which touches the hearts of people and they get addicted to it. There are very few singers who know the art of creating music which plays with people's feelings and emotions."

"Manikarnika - The Queen of Jhansi" which is in its post-production stage is now facing the wrath of a section of the crew which is upset that their dues, which had been promised by October, still remain unpaid. The workers then decided to approach FWICE (Federation of Western Indian Cine Employees) to seek its help.
Reacting on the issue, Kangana said, "It's very sad. I have always opposed such kind of practices. There are doubts that labourers and technicians in the film industry are really devalued. I don't know why actors only get an unnecessary attention and importance in the film industry and because of that, I also want to be a technician."
"I feel they are absolutely devalued. I want to venture into direction and writing as these people are unsung heroes of the film industry."
Kangana added that issues like non-payment of dues cannot be tolerated.
"When such things happen with labourers, it can't be tolerated but I have been promised by the makers of the film that there is no such thing like that. They told me that they have a dispute with a vendor and they are doing a negotiation with him because they don't think they should pay as much he is demanding," she said.
Kangana added that she warned makers of the film that she will not promote the film if they won't be able to solve the issue.
"I warned the makers of the film that if such thing will happen then I am going to disassociate with this film even though I have given 300 days of my life to it.
"I told them that I will not go for any promo launch and I will make sure that I will not promote the film even if one labourer's money has been stuck but they told me to calm down on this issue so, I don't things such an issue can happen on a film like this. Zee Studio is very big studio and they have a good reputation so, I am sure that there will be no complaints from our end," said the actress.
"Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi" is a historical biographical film based on the life of Rani Laxmibai of Jhansi It is directed by Krish and produced by Zee Studios in association with Kamal Jain and Nishant Pitti.
Kangana plays Rani Laxmibai. The film is scheduled to be released on January 25.
An elated Rakul took to Twitter to announce the news and wrote: "Super happy to announce my next in Hindi 'Marjaavaan'! Milap Zaveri let's kill it!"
Welcoming Rakul Preet, Zaveri wrote: Gives me great joy to welcome the gorgeous and talented Rakulpreet to 'Marjaavaan'. Dialoguebaazi and dhamaka en route!"
The film will also star Riteish Deshmukh and Tara Sutaria, who is making her Bollywood debut with "Student Of The Year 2".
The film reunites Zaveri with Riteish and Sidharth after four years after "Ek Villain", which was written by the filmmaker.
The other details of the film are still under wraps.
Madhuri was here for Netflix's "See What's Next: Asia".
The actress is making her debut on Netflix with her Marathi production titled "15th August", which is set in a chawl and is a satire about the struggles of middle class India.
Asked what if "Hum Aapke Hain Koun...!" would have premiered 20 years later on Netflix?
"There are two magical things in the world. One is theatre or cinema and the internet. Netflix is a great marriage between these two. If we had the infrastructure that we do today, 20 years ago then it would have been great because even though 'Hum Aapke Hai Koun...! 'was very well received despite not having Netflix and everything it would have magnified," Madhuri said.
She said releasing it on a digital platform would have taken the family entertainer, which was very well received at the Indian box office, to another level.
"190 countries and different languages with subtitles... I think it would have been watched by even more people than it reached out to," she added.
The 51-year-old Bollywood actress said films releasing on the digital platform help in reaching out to a larger audience.
"When you make films, you want maximum number of people to see... In India there are 5000 screens theatres, in China it's 9000 theatres and in Netflix more than a 100 million screens.
"So you are reaching out to that many people and that's what you want to do. You want to magnify it and take it to as many different people as possible," she added.
Apart from announcing Madhuri's production venture on the streaming giant, Netflix officials also announced eight more films releasing on the portal. It includes "Firebrand" produced by Priyanka Chopra and mother Madhu Chopra, Leena Yadav's "Rajma Chawal" and "Chopsticks" starring Abhay Deol and Mithila Palkar among others.
"I just love clothes. I have a certain sense of ethnic style in clothes. I feel there is a gap in the market and there are more people looking for Indian clothes online. So I talked to Myntra's CEO ... and we came up with the idea of 'House of Pataudi'," Saif told IANS here.
While on the subject of fashion, Saif could not resist complimenting wife Kareena Kapoor Khan, considered a fashion icon.
"(Kareena) has an amazing fashion statement. She has always been interested in clothes. When we met, she would shop cool dresses to wear at functions. I think she must have started the benchmark of cool dresses, and then everyone started sourcing it and getting such dresses."
Asked if Kareena shops for him too, Saif smiled and said: "No, of course not. I select my clothes on my own... If you understand women's clothes, it does not mean you understand men's clothes too. They are very different. Sometimes, they are even more complicated."
Taapsee, who has featured in films like "Baby", "Pink" and "Mulk", featured in entertainment-based audio show "Take 2 with Anupama and Rajeev" in which she spoke about her life and career, read a statement.
Asked when did she realise she wanted to be an actor, Taapsee said: "After my first film released. Actually that is true and by no means it should be taken that I don't love my job right now. I am doing it because I am loving it. In the beginning, I have been very honest about the fact it was not something that I planned for myself.
"I wanted to do MBA in marketing and do a regular job, probably something creative but in the MBA space, but not this risky or crazy I'll say. I jumped into this profession only to while away one year of my life while I prep for my MBA. And when movies happened, I took two films at a time -- one Tamil, one Telugu to see, 'Let's have fun, enjoy, we will learn something new and life is not really wasted, and rather than sitting at home and only studying, might as well learn something new as well'."
Her Telugu film became a hit while Tamil movie "Aadukalam" won multiple National Awards.
That was when she felt it was destiny's way of telling her "something". "I (thought I) should listen to it."
As a girl from Delhi, how did she land up in a Tamil or Telugu film?
"I have been very crazily adventurous with my life and age has now made me sober down a little bit. But I have been insanely crazy. I love doing something which is not expected and obviously I have this fascination. This fascination took me to a place near central Delhi somewhere in the middle of forest area which was supposed to be having some weird history and haunted and all that, and I just wanted to explore.
"I am that person who loves to go somewhere where nobody has.
"I did get Hindi offers but those were like with no literally no names. I didn't hear about those guys before nor did Google mention much. I Googled about the guys who offered films me in South and they were really big names."
One filmmaker she really wants to work with is Mani Ratnam.
"I want to be a Mani Ratnam heroine once. Very rarely I get to be a heroine first of all, so I want to be a Mani Ratnam heroine because it is something very pure and real at the same. He is one director who can... You will be real as a character but he will still make you look aspirational at the same time," said the "Manmarziyaan" actress.
"It's going to be one of the most special films of my career. The way Aditya Dhar has written and directed it and Vicky (Kaushal) and the entire cast has put in a lot of hard work," Yami told IANS here.
She says the film had to be shown to every Indian in the country.
"'Uri' is going to be a special film. It is based on a true event which is important not just for me as an actor but as even a citizen... It was something which had to be shown. People should know what it takes to be in those shoes and do what it actually takes to keep us safe the way we are," she added.
The film also stars Vicky Kaushal, who will be seen playing the role of an Indian commando who is involved in the 2016 surgical strikes.
Based on the surgical strikes of 2016 carried out by the Indian Armed Forces, "Uri" traces the significant event.
It also features Kirti Kulhari and Paresh Rawal in lead roles. Produced by RSVP movies, "Uri" will hit the theatres on January 11, 2019.
Prabhudheva has choreographed "Suraiyya" in a way which combines old Indian dance forms with intricate contemporary moves. The song will see Aamir, dressed as a British captain, wooing Katrina in front of some British officers.
[caption id="attachment_329139" align="alignnone" width="750"] Pic Credit: mid-day.com[/caption]
The director said in a statement: "'Suraiyya' is a song that gives a sneak peek into the flirtatious relationship between (the characters) Firangi (Aamir) and Suraiyya (Katrina). While she is the most famous performer of India, Firangi is an equally cunning man of the country whom Suraiyya doesn't trust at all."
The song has been composed by Ajay-Atul while Amitabh Bhattacharya has penned its lyrics. Shreya Ghoshal and Vishal Dadlani have sung the song.
Talking about the actors in the song, Acharya said: "They have a fun chemistry, they are an odd pair and they are both thugs in their own right. Prabhudheva has done a sensational job in creating steps that only Katrina Kaif could pull off. I'm sure audiences will love it."
Yash Raj Films' "Thugs of Hindostan", which is slated to release on November 8, also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Fatima Sana Sheikh.
While interacting with the media at the launch of new collection of Daniel Wellington watches as their brand ambassador, Radhika on Wednesday hoped that the film industry would come up with an "equal and genderless" system to tackle any kind of harassment cases.
Radhika has been associated with Kwan Entertainment -- one of the biggest celebrity management agencies in India -- whose founder has been sacked after four aspiring actresses anonymously accused him of seeking sexual favours.
Asked whether she will disassociate herself with the celebrity management agency, Radhika said: "I am completely and closely in contact with them. The people who are associated with Kwan have helped me and I have a great relationship with them. They are taking all required action as we all support the (#MeToo) movement."
On M.J. Akbar's resignation as Minister of State for External Affairs in the wake of the raging campaign, Radhika said: "There are so many people involved and there are more things which will come out. So, we can't comment on every individual case at this stage."
"All I can say is that, as an industry, we are trying to come together and find a way of constructively making a system where we all have a safe environment and it's going on. I am part of that and I hope that we come up with a constructive system which is equal and genderless for every human being," Radhika added.
"Volleying some with the soldiers. Thanks for this amazing opportunity. Sports girl for life, volleyball, Jai Jawaan, Bhuj, Punjab Regiment, Army camp," Sonakshi, who was there to shoot for a news channel, tweeted on Saturday.
"Certain experiences just become a part of who you are. Will never forget the time I spent with our amazing soldiers, tried some of the things they do, made them smile and left with an unforgettable experience," she added.
Sonakshi had featured in "Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty" that presented the story of Virat Bakshi (played by actor Akshay Kumar), Captain in D.I.A., a secret wing of Indian Army.
Meanwhile, she will be seen in "Kalank". Conceptualised by Karan Johar and his late father Yash Johar almost 15 years ago, "Kalank" is an epic drama set in the 1940s
The video is aimed at generating awareness around the importance of girls' education in India.
As part of a mission to give everyone a voice and show them the world, YouTube, along with Priyanka, Bhuvan Bam, Prajakta Koli, and Vidya Vox will be releasing a series of ads to highlight the importance of educating girls.
Among a series of four ads running over the next several weeks, Priyanka, a globally acclaimed actress and Unicef Goodwill Ambassador, is breaking common stereotypes girls are used to hearing in the country today.
In the video, Priyanka says, "As girls grow up, the list of instructions grow as well. 'Ladkiyan zaada uchal kud nahin karte (Don't jump around too much)', 'Ladkiyan uchi awaaz main nahin bolti (girls don't raise their voice)', 'Padhai main kya rakha hai (whats's the point in studying so hard)', 'Ghar hi toh sambhalna hai (you will be managing the house after all)'... so what are girls to do.
"Girls will follow their dreams and will do everything."
The video ends with an appeal to give girls a chance at everything.
Highlighting the cause and lending support to the campaign, Priyanka has also written a guest blog which starts with her "entering a village school full of young girls" and how she was "greeted by peals of laughter".
"...there was a break in which they were all play acting - one was wearing a makeshift lab coat and playing doctor, another young one was wearing big glasses, holding a chalk in one hand, and was playing teacher, while one had made a huge tower from blocks and was pointing to her becoming a civil engineer and making big buildings. Where was I? It's not important because I have travelled to the remotest villages with Unicef across India and seen the same over and over again."
Priyanka added: "Those smiles and their dreams, their trust in us, the faith in their dreams and role playing -- have constantly reinstated my hope. Over a decade of working with Unicef to empower the girl child, to ensure access to education for the girls, is working - maybe in small steps, but the efforts can be seen. The statistics staring at us may be staggering but then, let us not focus on how big the numbers are."
She says that worldwide, over 250 million children and youth are out of school.
"The battle is global. Which means, more effort from all of us as a responsible society. If the battle is big, let's match our efforts to that scale, and up the ante on how we can help reduce that number. Bring more smiles, send more girls to school, ensure less dropouts and empower every girl child's dream."
"I am so happy and proud to have Carolina in my team. I'm a huge fan, not just because of the fact that she is one of the best players in the world but also because of the spirit with which she plays," Taapsee said in a statement.
"She is a treat to watch when she is playing. The funny anecdote is that whenever she plays in India I always get a bunch of messages on social media telling me that my doppelganger is here or comparing our pictures and pointing out similarities.
"Though I'm sure personally we both might find it difficult to believe but a lot of people apparently feel so," she added.
The "Manmarziyaan" actress is looking forward to meeting Marin when she will travel for the PBL matches. The date of the meeting is not yet fixed.
The new TV campaign, featuring the actress, captures the values and essence of the brand - "Achchaai Jo Chehre Par Nazar Aaye". It has been rolled out to celebrate the goodness, painstakingly nurtured and instilled in children by every mother, said a statement,
"The Charmis film simply underlines a basic truth that while goodness is about character, integrity, honesty, kindness, moral courage, but above all, goodness is about how you treat other people. Being an ambassador makes me feel good and trustworthy; both aspects being important to me as a person and an artist," said Kajol.
The campaign recognises and celebrates the lessons best learnt from mothers - ‘Maa ki Seekh' and how they guide children to make the right choices as they navigate through the maze of life and respond to challenges and conflicts thrown up each day.
Sameer Satpathy, Chief Executive, Personal Care Products Business, ITC Limited, said, "It is a moment of pride for us to reintroduce Charmis, a brand that has been loved by consumers for over eight decades, in a fresh new look. We are excited to introduce a great new sensorial with SPF 30 and above all with a delightful new TV campaign."
The new TVC developed by the creative team at Contract and film director Ram Madhvani of Equinox, showcase the heartfelt moment of a young boy, who when faced with a dilemma, decides to follow the value of goodness and the teachings learnt from his mother - brave boys don't hit girls.
Asked about the MeToo movement gaining momentum in Bollywood, Chitrangada said: "Indian society is very different from Western society. That's why I am saying we shouldn't ape it. But it is definitely inspiring to see people like Tanushree coming out in the open to talk about it and we shouldn't suppress their voices.
"It is nothing to do with the West. We should make it our own society where we should make men in our society more responsible for their actions. It's a positive step and we should cultivate the habit of speaking the truth more often than not," she added.
Talking about Tanushree-Nana controversy, Chitrangada said: "If it is the truth and even if you speak about it after 5 years or 10 years, we must listen to it, give importance to it and do justice to it. I support Tanushree.
"She has taken 10 years to talk about it. In rape cases or molestation cases, most of the times the victim doesn't feel confident to speak about it immediately. But whenever they want to express themselves, then as a society we should support them and give them a hearing at least."
Tanushree has also filed a police complaint against Nana, who has denied the allegations.
Chitrangada has worked in film "Inkaar", which was based on sexual harassment at work place. She had also walked out of "Babumoshai Bandookbaaz" citing discomfort shooting intimate scenes with co-star Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
Recalling her own experience, Chitrangada said: "That was my stand to walk out of the film. I shared my reasons with a media house when they called me to talk about it.
"I believe that nobody gave importance to that matter that time. But that doesn't matter, because now media is doing an amazing job. #MeToo movement shouldn't be just about copying the West. It should be concerned about our society."
Chitrangada was interacting with the media at the Elle Beauty Awards 2018 where she won 'Be More Elle Award' on Saturday here.
According to the complaint, a copy of which is being circulated on WhatsApp, Tanushree has also complained against choreographer Ganesh Acharya, producer Samee Siddiqui, director Rakesh Sarang and MNS party workers. It has been submitted to the Oshiwara police station.
She narrated the incident which took place on the sets of "Horn Ok Pleassss" in 2008, when she had made it clear that she wouldn't perform any vulgar steps.
"Nana Patekar's behaviour was inappropriate towards me, he was on the set despite (the fact) his work in the song was over. He grabbed me by the arm and pushed me towards him around on the pretext of teaching me how to dance," read one part of the complaint.
The written complaint comes just days after Tanushree in an interview made a renewed allegation against Nana about the incident.
She had first spoken out about it in 2008 itself, but says her voice was suppressed by those in power.
On his part, Nana had denied the accusation even back then, and on Saturday, on being confronted by the media, he said he had answered the questions about it 10 years ago.
"Jhooth toh jhooth hi hai (a lie is a lie)," Nana said, clearly denying the allegations.
Nana, who has already sent Tanushree a legal notice, will address a press conference on Monday.
"I've been slapped with two legal notices today. One from Nana Patekar and another from Vivek Agnihotri. This is the price you pay for speaking out against harassment, humiliation and injustice in India," Tanushree said in a statement.
The former beauty queen said both Nana and Agnihotri's teams are on a smear campaign against her by constructing outright lies and misinformation on social media platforms and other public platforms.
She said: "Today while I was at home and the police personnel posted outside my home were on a lunch break, two unnamed suspicious individuals tried getting into our home uninvited but were stopped just in time by security personnel in the building. Later, the police came back from their break and secured the premises again. Violent threats are being issued against me by the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) party.
"I am being threatened to be dragged into the court and legal system of India which we all know can keep a woman and her supporters as well as media silent on the pretext of 'matter subjudice', but can also further be used to harass her and drain her out financially."
Tanushree feels the "dawn of justice never arrives".
"Court cases can run for decades without a hope for a conclusion," she added.
Calling it the age-old saga of survivors in the country, Tanushree said: "And now I stand to lose this new life too if I allow myself to get embroiled in the court system of India. And you wanted to know why the me too movement hasn't happened in India... This is why."
The actress, who worked in films like "Aashiq Banaaya Aapne" and "Chocolate: Deep Dark Secrets", last month spoke out against alleged harassment she faced from Nana on the sets of a 2008 film. She had been vocal about her experience even a decade ago, but says she was silenced due to the power game.
Tanushree's outburst is being seen as the beginning of India's #MeToo campaign as while celebrities have slammed the casting couch and harassment reality, none had so far named and shamed.
Nana had last week dismissed Tanushree's claim, while Agnihotri has said she is pulling off a publicity stunt.
Kutcher on Thursday shared an article about Priyanka, who announced she was investing in tech start-up Holberton School, a coding education company, as well as in dating and social media app Bumble.
He captioned: "Invest in the future you want to see!"
To which, Priyanka replied: "You clearly inspired us Ashton Kutcher."
In her first project as a start-up investor, Priyanka recently toured the San Francisco home of her new portfolio company -- the school which uses projects and group learning instead of more traditional courses, to teach software development, according to The New York Times.
The actress' investment in Holberton is part of an $8.2 million round of funding for Holberton that closed in April. She will join the company's board of advisers, and will emphasise support for Holberton's mission to educate people from underprivileged backgrounds.

Her second investment is in Bumble, a dating and social media app founded by Whitney Wolfe Herd. She plans to help promote Bumble's launch in India in the coming months, reported The New York Times.
Priyanka was introduced to tech investing by her manager Anjula Acharia, a founder and angel investor who spent time as an entrepreneur-in-residence and partner at Trinity Ventures, a Silicon Valley venture capital firm. The two have worked together since 2010.
This is also an effort on her part to help change the tech industry's gender disparity.
"A new chapter for me! I am so excited to partner with Bumble and Holberton School as an investor. I'm honoured to join two companies that strive to expand gender diversity in the tech space, and make a social impact for the greater good... let's do this," Priyanka tweeted on Thursday.

The actress' investment in Holberton is part of an $8.2 million round of funding for Holberton that closed in April. She will join the company's board of advisers, and will emphasise support for Holberton's mission to educate people from underprivileged backgrounds.
Her investments will skew heavily toward companies with an element of social impact, and companies founded by women.
"I don't want to just be one of those people who's like, 'Yeah, I want to be on the tech bandwagon -- how are they making so much money?' It's not about that," said Priyanka, who is engaged to American singer Nick Jonas, has been squeezing in meetings with start-up founders and lined up future investments in between her hectic schedules.
"Geeks are taking over the world. If they haven't already," said the "Quantico" star, who has joined the bandwagon of celebrities like Ashton Kutcher, Leonardo DiCaprio, who have invested in tech start-ups too.
Priyanka said she did not yet know how many deals she would do or how much money she would invest, but she does plan on building a portfolio.

"She was such a huge influence in my life. Admired her elegance, wit, generosity and warmth. She will always stay in my heart. No one like her. Best human being, loved her. Best friend," Neetu posted on Instagram on Tuesday while sharing a picture of herself with Krishna.
The two seemed to have had a great bond and often used to travel together for holiday trips.
In July, the actress celebrated her birthday in Paris with her family members which included Krishna, Rishi and her children Ranbir and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, son-in-law Bharat Sahni and niece Samara.
Krishna, the widow of the legendary Bollywood actor-filmmaker Raj Kapoor, died on Monday morning after suffering a cardiac arrest. She is survived by her sons Randhir Kapoor, Rishi, Rajiv Kapoor, and daughters Ritu Nanda and Rima Kapoor-Jain.
A statement released on Tuesday said: "CINTAA strongly condemns any act that outrages the modesty of any individual and any form of sexual harassment is unacceptable to us.
"After going through Tanushree Dutta's complaint, which was filed with the then Executive Committee of CINTAA in March 2008, we feel that the decision was taken in the Joint Dispute Settlement Committee of CINTAA and Indian Film and TV Producers Council (which was then known as Association of Motion Pictures and TV Programme Producers) in July 2008 was not appropriate, as the chief grievance of sexual harassment wasn't even addressed."
She had first levelled harassment accusations against Nana in 2008 after the incident took place on the sets of the film "Horn 'ok' Pleassss".
Last month, Tanushree said in an interview that the #MeToo movement will never arrive in India because of the industry's hypocrisy. It refreshed discussions about her unsavoury experience and allegations.
While the CINTAA officials have urged every member of their association to file complaint of sexual harassment immediately after facing it, the authority mentioned: "Unfortunately, CINTAA's constitution bars us from taking up any case which is more than three years old. Hence, we appeal to the authorities to take cognizance of Ms Dutta's statements and conduct an impartial and speedy enquiry so that truth and justice may prevail."
The 31-year-old took to Instagram and posted a picture showcasing her transformation into the ace badminton player, who won the bronze for the country in 2012 London Olympics.

In the picture, Shraddha can be seen wearing a sports outfit with India's flag on it and holding a racquet in her hand.
Sharing her film's shoot experience, Shraddha said, "Saina's parents gave lots of love to me and they treated me like a family when I visited their home, so, it felt really nice to see them here."
Directed by Amol Gupte and produced by Bhushan Kumar of T-Series, the Saina Nehwal biopic went on floors on September 22.
"I think we need to create culture without sexual abuse for anybody then we will have a work culture," Radhika told IANS over an email.
As an actor, she has to deal with hectic schedules and travel a lot. Radhika says she tries to drink a lot of water and get proper sleep.
"I don't do much for skin. Just drink water, try to get proper sleep, exercise, sweat it out, keep it moisturised, and most importantly clean. That's basically what I do."
For hair?
The actress, who launched a botanical hair tonic True Roots that delays hair greying, said: "I didn't do much before this. This is like the only product I have started to keep in my bag very lately. It delays hair greying by working directly on the roots...It's in a spray format, easy-to-use and non-sticky."
She says it suited her needs.
"I do have a lot of greys and I do have a need to cover them and I hadn't found such a natural solution and an easy solution to prevent my greys and also go to the root cause, rather than superficially hiding them," she said.
Mallika took to her Twitter handle to promote FIAPO's #21DayCompassionChallenge, asking her fans to ditch dairy and other animal products and try a vegan diet.
In the video, Mallika talks about choosing a compassionate future for herself.
She said: "I believe in compassion for all. I feel we are all inherently compassionate, but fail to see the reality. I have been vegan for more than 15 years and for me veganism is a lifestyle choice - a healthier and cruelty free way of living! Many people think, to be vegan you have to give up a lot of things, but being a long time vegan, I can proudly say I have not given up on anything.
"In fact, I am much healthier and happier knowing no animal had to suffer for my food. I don't drink cow's milk and I don't eat meat because no one should suffer for our choices. I urge all my fans to take the challenge and try veganism for 21 days."
There is an increase in the number of people choosing a vegan diet.
FIAPO's Executive Director Varda Mehrotra said: "The best thing about being a vegan is to be able to live a life aligned with one's values. We can only be in peace knowing we aren't harming, killing, maiming others for our greed.
"In the last decade there has been a tremendous shift in how veganism is perceived in India. While many organisations and individuals are dedicatedly working on creating awareness, a Bollywood actor speaking up and promoting veganism is a huge push for veganism in India."
During the India Today Mind Rocks Youth Summit 2018 here on Saturday, the "Heropanti" actor said: " We can be friends also na? There is more. We are very good friends.
"She is very inspiring and hardworking. She doesn't take the good looks and talent to her head. Even after her success, she hasn't changed," he said.
As Tiger will be seen with Hrithik Roshan in his next film, he shared how difficult it would be for him to perform in front of his inspiration.
"I have always been inspired by Hrithik Sir. I am very nervous. Whatever I have achieved so far, is because of my inspiration, Hrithik Sir.
"It will be tough to dance and do action against Hrithik. I hope I don't freeze in front of him, " he added.
Also, at the event, Tiger paid tribute to the late legendary singer/dancer Michael Jackson by performing on his song "Billie Jean".
"Women have a tendency of feeling a lot of guilt. We are always trying to be perfect in playing different roles, so I feel it is important to take time for yourself and do it without guilt. Even if women go for a spa session, most women are thinking 'Oh, I have to go pick my kids from school' or 'My husband must be coming home'.
"Women are constantly worrying about someone else... But it's okay to take time for yourself and do it without guilt," Deepika said at an event on 'Finding Beauty in Imperfection', organised by Ficci Ladies Organisation (FLO).
In a pristine white ensemble and with her hair neatly tied, Deepika gave a motivational talk on how she dealt with depression, and the work being done by her NGO The Live Love Laugh Foundation, which was founded in 2015 and deals with mental health issues.
What Deepika was not ready to talk about was the speculation around her November wedding to actor Ranveer Singh.
"I am certainly not answering this question... It's an extremely insensitive question to ask at an event like this," Deepika told a scribe who questioned about it.
However, the actress was at peace while she spoke how sharing her own experience of dealing with depression was life-changing for her.
"Sharing my experience with depression made me feel lighter. It was like a huge weight lifted off my shoulders, I felt transparent with no fear of being judged," Deepika said, adding that it left her happier, more sensitive, aware, and with an understanding of how fragile life is.
One of the highest paid actresses of India, Deepika, who started her career with "Om Shanti Om" over a decade ago, says when she had come out to tell the world of her battle with depression, she didn't think of it as being "brave or revolutionary."
"I just felt that it was important for me to share something that was very personal to me, something that had changed my life, and something that I felt had a lot of stigma when I was experiencing it.
"I remember telling myself and all the people around me during my journey of recovery, and saying that if by sharing my story, I can even save one life... The purpose is that... Having this conversation is itself a huge step in that direction of change that our country really needs to see, and we are definitely headed in the right direction. But we have a long way to go," Deepika said.
She outlined the "big difference" between sadness and depression, and said while people suffering depression must be willing to seek help, those around them need to treat them with love and understanding.
"I believe I've grown as an actor because that happens with the practice and the experience. As a person, I'm a lot calmer and take every release Friday as it comes," Huma told IANS.
She said that as an actor, it's important to dabble in a variety of genres.
"That helps you get better with your craft. It has never been a conscious decision to gravitate towards these roles. For me, it's the script and the filmmaker that are deciding factors," said the actress, who has collaborated with online fashion destination KOOVS.com for the brand's Autumn Winter 18 collection.
The actress looks boho chic as she is styled in brand's latest HUMA X KOOVS line.
She is seen sporting everything from printed dresses to dhoti pants to high low dresses highlighting the best in fusion wear and her love for Bohemian wear.
Asked if she is an online shopper, the actress said: "Most definitely, especially since my work leaves me very little time to actually visit stores and shop. The online platform makes it much more convenient."
Daniel said his life revolves around his wife and their children.
"She probably influences everything that I do in my life. We discuss everything -- not always as husband and wife but in terms of business as well. There is not even one aspect of my life that I don't ask her opinion on -- whether it is creative opinion or business opinion," Daniel told IANS in an interview over phone from Mumbai.
"That is the mutual respect that we have for each other. We respect each other and just want each other's thought or take on something. It has been a long time since I made a unilateral decision without my wife giving her input," he added with a laugh.
Sunny and Daniel have been together for the last seven years. They surprised everyone last year when they announced that they had adopted a baby girl named Nisha from Latur.
They sprang another surprise in March by announcing that they had expanded their family by including two more children -- sons Noah and Asher -- via surrogacy.
For Daniel, embracing fatherhood has been a big but beautiful change.
"I believe I am extremely a hands-on father. For instance today, the reason we are on a call at 2.30 p.m. is because at 1.30 p.m., I pick-up my daughter from school every day and at 2 p.m I read her a book and at 2.15 p.m., she takes a nap and at 2.30 p.m., I am on a call with you.
"So how has it changed me? Well, everything in my life revolves around what my kids are doing."
Professionally, Daniel fronts Los Angeles-based rock and roll band The Disparrows. He says he makes it a point to come out with an album after every two years.
What about cutting an album for the Indian market?
"Probably not at this time. I think it will not be authentic. I collaborate with artistes for songs in Hindi where I play the guitar. But for me to write an album that caters to this market, I don't think it will be authentic enough as I don't think I am strong enough in the language," said Daniel, who seeks influence from American rock and roll icons for his music.
Last month, Sunny -- who started off as an adult film star and ventured into Bollywood with "Jism 2" in 2012, made headlines for starting a donation page on crowd-funding platform Impact Guru to raise money for her friend Prabhakar for kidney transplant.
Talking about the initiative, Daniel said: "We are trying to help him raise money. We put out his story and we put out a 'fund me' page. We are trying to do our best to help and it has been doing very well. People have a heart and when they hear somebody's story who is not well off, they want to help."
On the work front, Daniel is busy producing a movie, creating content, managing Starstruck, managing Lust fragrance company, managing a social media company.
"We do a lot of stuff. I look after all of her work too," he said.

Nandita took to Twitter and wrote: "At TIFF, in addition to 'Manto' North American premiere, I will participate in 'Share her journey' and will share my perspective along with six incredible women at a public rally hosted by the festival. Can't wait."
The filmmaker, who earlier attended the film's screening at the Cannes Film festival where she was seen protesting against gender gap, feels proud at getting the opportunity to speak on gender parity in films at an international platform once again.
On the same, she penned a long post on Facebook which reads: "This year was doubly rewarding when 'Manto' began its journey with a world premiere at Cannes, and I participated in the march with a select group of 82 women protesting gender inequality in the film industry.
"Soon, I will be going to the Toronto International Film Festival for Manto's North American premiere. There, I have been invited to participate in the movement called 'Share Her Journey' to champion female storytellers and push gender parity in films."
She also mentioned that issues like sexism and sexual misconduct exist in the industry and almost every single actress has dealt with it.
"We all know that sexism, gender disparity and sexual misconduct are widespread in the film industry. Almost all of us have been privy to it and most have experienced it firsthand. In the past year, the #MeToo and #TimesUp movements have shed a much-needed spotlight on the harsh reality faced by women in the industry.
"While not enough criminal prosecutions have happened yet, it has given hope to women in the industry that silence does not have to be an option."
She is also glad that finally important festivals are beginning to address this "inexcusable, longstanding wrong".
"The fact that these movements have garnered such attention and support is a clear indication that we cannot and will not accept this culture of inequality and abuse. I look forward to standing, side-by-side, and sharing stories with my fellow speakers and audiences," she said.
Starring actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the lead role, "Manto" is slated to release on September 21.
