Thiruvananthapuram: Chief seclector for Indian team Krishmachari Srikkanth today declined to join issue with his critics over exclusion of pace bowler Sreesanth from the side for the World Cup.

However, he praised the competence of Sreesanth as good bowler, especilly for test matches.

"The process is over.I have to take permission from BCCI if I want to make any comment on the selection", Srikkanth told reporters after inauguratiing the work of a cricket stadium at Thumba near here.

During speech, Srikkanth, lauded the performance of Sreesanth in test matches. "Let Kerala produce more bowlers like Sreesanth", he said.

He also wanted KCA to build more cricket infrastructure in Kerala which would help players from the state to come up.

The stadium is being developed at cost of Rs 4 crore by Kerala Cricket Association in association with St Xavier`s College at Thumba.

It was envisaged as a full-fledged ground with a new turf wickets, dressing room, indoor nets and other facilities for staging first class matches.
