New York: The Indo-Swiss tennis combine of Sania Mirza and Martina Hingis entered the women's doubles semifinals with a straight sets victory over Chinese Taipei ninth seeds Yung-Jan Chan and Hao-Ching Chan at the US Open here.

The top seeds took just an hour and 25 minutes to beat the Chan sisters 7-6(5), 6-1 at the Flushing Meadows on Tuesday.
