Jamshedpur: Railways maintained their winning streak while Odisha tasted their first victory on the fourth day of Santosh Trophy football tournament, here today.

After thrashing Chhattisgarh 4-1 in their previous tie, Railways defeated Sikkim 5-1 after dominating the proceedings throughout the match in the Group B encounter at Gopal Maidan.

Sushil Kisku scored a brace -- first at the 16th minute and then converted a penalty five minutes later, while his team-mate Kenistan C also struck twice in 72nd and 79th minutes. Charlesnand Ral netted the last goal in the 74th minutes.

Sikkim scored a consolation goal when Dawa Lepcha converted a penalty in the 44th minutes.

Seven yellow cards were served in the match including four to the Northeast team.

Railways were now on the top of the chart with six points from two outings.

In another match played at JRD Tata Sports complex, Odisha exhibited good combination and passing skills to register a 3-0 win over Chhattisgarh.

Surendra Soren opened the account through a brilliant field goal in the 30th minute while Antarjami Naik scored a brace post-lemon break in 54th and 68th minutes.

Odisha had drawn 1-1 against Sikkim in their previous encounter.
