Kolkata: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Tuesday congratulated Kolkata Knight Riders on getting into IPL finals.

Expressing happiness over KKR defeating Delhi Daredevils by 18 runs in Pune, she congratulated the entire team, sources said.

It is for the first time that KKR has made it to the summit clash. Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan who is the co-owner of the IPL franchise, is also the state`s brand ambassador.
