Federation Cup Final: Mohun Bagan to take on Bengaluru FC

Cuttack: Defending champions Mohun Bagan will look to reclaim their Federation Cup title crown when they clash against Bengaluru FC in the final here at Barabati stadium in Cuttack here on Sunday.

At a time when Kolkata based Mohun Bagan is vying to stamp their supremacy in the championship that they have won 14 times in the past, the Bengaluru FC which is also poised for its first ever contention for the title.

Football Association of Odisha has ensured all the preparations for the final showdown and to make it more attractive, the match has been made ticketless.

This is the seventh time that both sides would be meeting this season with the last encounter ending in a 1-1 draw.

Earlier, Bengaluru entered into the finals after beating last year runners-up Aizwal FC 1-0 while Mohun Bagan had an easy going against East Bengal in the semis.
