Kochi: Indian speedster S Sreesanth showcased his S-36 band in Kerala in which he sang two songs written by him, including one for the Indian World cup squad.

The curtain raiser show of his S-36 band (S for Sreesanth and 36 is his lucky jersey number) was held at the Jt Performing centre here on Sunday night.

Sreesanth sang two songs written --`Hello` a Hindi number with a message for the India world cup team `Sheera Benkae Tu Jung say lad lae` (Fight the battle like a Tiger) and a Love song in Tamil `Anbulla Azhake`.

He also sang and danced to a song from Hindi film `Kaminae`.

The cricketer anchored, sang and performed for the audience who were only too happy to see their famous cricketer in a new avatar, Sree santh`s borther-n-law and Playback singer Madhu Balakrishnan and Deepak warrier, both band members told media.

This was the first curtain raiser performance held by the band in the country and similar performances would be held in other cities as well.

Madhu Balakrushan sang few malayalam songs and keerthanams.

Kamran Ahamed, who sang `Lambi Judai` in Emran Hashmi starrer `Jannat` is likely to perform with the band in other cities.

The band plans to perform similar shows in Bangalore, Mumbai and chandigarh before the formal launch in Dubai, post IPL matches, Deepak warrier said.

Bollywood and South Indian stars are expected to participate in the Dubai event, he said.
