Bhubaneswar: With five days to go to the ICC cricket world cup, the largest cricketing event to be held in the sub-continent, people from different strata of the society are gearing up to cheer their favourites—‘The Men in Blue’.   

The nation where cricket is almost considered as ‘religion’ is draped in cricketing colors. Irrespective of age, gender and community, people across the nation are up to crazy things to show their support for the team.

For the gala event, young girls and boys have carved beautiful mehndi and tattoo designs of world cup and national flag strategically placed on face and hands.

Besides, girls are making trips to local salons for doing hairs resembling replica of world cup.

Interestingly, a man from Udaipur has prepared a kite with the posters of Team India members. This sports enthusiast has roped in around 300 kites to prepare the gigantic kite.

The adrenalin rush is getting high as well as the excitement. With a prayer and good wishes to bring home the cricket world cup, sports lovers are trying out their ways to back their team.
