Balasore: Barely four days after seven kids in an anganwadi centre in Nayagarh district died due to wall collapse, an eight year old kid and his mother died at Barghai Sahi in Suteibad village under Balasore Sadar PS due to wall collapse last night. While the kid died on the spot, his mother critically injured in the accident, breathed last on her way to SCB medical, Cuttack.

According to sources, wall of their house could not sustain the water logging due to heavy rain in the area. The rain-water soaked wall collapsed last night killing Kanhei Barik (8) and his mother Sukanti Barik. Two other girls Kaberi (12) and Sabita (9) injured in the incident have been shifted to SCB medical for treatment.
