Bhubaneswar: The State government today effected a reshuffle in the senior bureaucracy appointing former Malkangiri collector R. Vineel Krishna as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) created for the Bhubaneswar Smart City project after his return from Central deputation.

Vineel Krishna has also been given additional charge as the Managing Director (MD) of the Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC).

While SN Girish has been appointed as the director of Special Projects, Sanjeev Chopra has been given charge as Principal Secretary of the Industries department. Chopra has also been given additional charge as the chairman of OMC.

Nitin Bhanudas Jawale has now become the Tourism department director, while Dr. AB Ota has been appointed as the Central Range RDC.
