Rourkela: Two persons allegedly involved in the killing of local businessman were arrested on Thursday, police said.

Identified as Mahadev Mundari and Mahesh Maharaj, the duo have confessed during police interrogation of their involvement in the murder of Dilip Roul on May 1 in Basanti Colony area of the city.

Police has also seized a country-made pistol and a live cartridge from their possession.

They allegedly killed Roul after robbing cash of Rs 50,000 from his shop.

Both were produced before a local court which remanded them to jail custody.
