Bhubaneswar: ‘Ishq Tu Hi Tu’, Tarang Cine Productions’ first venture which was released on 60 screens across Odisha yesterday, has been received well by cine-goers. The much-awaited inter-community love-based flick was premiered in two theatres – Sriya (Bhubaneswar) and Jayashree (Cuttack) – in the presence of its lead pair Arindam and Elina.

The movie opened to packed audiences in most of the film theatres of the state. Sources in the film fraternity said viewers loved its strong storyline based on 1991 communal riots in Dhamnagar area of Bhadrak district and performance of the actors, including newbie Elina.

“A film like this will stay in the hearts and minds of people forever because the beauty of its story,” said Arindam.

Elina, who made her acting debut in this movie as a lead actress, praised the presentation style of director Tapas Sargharia and the film’s story of love between a Muslim girl and a Hindu boy.

“We should not forget humanity at any cost, and that is the main theme of the film,” said Sargharia, who was present during the premiere.

The film’s music director is Abhijit Mazumdar.

“This is a complete entertainer and packaged well with romance, action and drama,” said a viewer coming out of Sriya talkies after seeing the movie.
