Cuttack/Bhubaneswar: This evening, the Who’s Who of Ollywood will be seen rubbing shoulders at the historic Baliyatra Ground in Cuttack, the venue for the 7th Tarang Cine Awards.

According to reports, the preparations are being given finishing touches. An 80-feet long stage is ready for the performers, who are busy rehearsing their performances for the big occasion.

“Wait, I am coming to put my best foot forward and come up with a dhamekadar performance at the award show tomorrow,” said Ollywood actor Arindam Roy, who is scheduled to perform tomorrow.

Bengali beauty Jhilik, who is now a popular name in Odia film industry, said: “I am very much excited for the award ceremony as I am performing in Guturu Guturu song from my film ‘Jaga Hatare Pagha’, which was a big hit in last Dusshera.

Another actor, Sambit, known for doing action flicks, said every artist wants to win an award as it inspires to do good work.

To make the night more memorable and entertaining, model and Bollywood actress Gauhar Khan is scheduled to attend the mega event as the special attraction, sources added.

This year, the awards will be given in 13 categories, including a lifetime achievement award to a veteran Odia film personality.

Arrangements have been made to accommodate a crowd of around 25,000 spectators.
