Bhubaneswar: With the annual Plus Two examinations scheduled to begin in Odisha from Wednesday, the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) has completed its preparation for smooth conduct of the examinations.

Briefing the media here on Monday, CHSE chairperson Prof Basudev Chhatoi said before the commencement at 10 AM, the question papers would be taken from the strong rooms of the examination management hubs to the examination centres by the observers on whose presence the question packets would be opened by the centre superintendents.

“We have 203 examination management hubs where the question papers have been kept with 24-hour security,” he added.

He further said the examinations would be held in1098 centres.

As per the schedule, the Science examinations will start from March 2 while Arts and Commerce examinations will start from March 3 and 4 respectively. The Science examinations will end on March 20 while Commerce and Arts examinations will be concluded on March 23 and March 21 respectively. The Vocational examination will end on March 24.

The examinations will start from 10 AM to 1 PM.

The Council this year has decided to announce the results by the second week of May.
