Srabani strikes gold, Dutee bags silver

Bhubaneswar: Odisha sprinters Srabani Nanda and Dutee Chand bagged gold and silver respectively on the final day of the 19th Federation Cup National Athletics Championship held at Mangalore in Karnataka today.

With this, the State got a total of four gold, two silver and one bronze medals.

In the women’s 200-metre sprint, Srabani clinched gold outpacing Dutee with a timing of 23.67 seconds whereas Dutee took 24.52 seconds and settled with a silver medal.

Notably, both Srabani and Dutee have also won a gold and silver medal respectively in 100-metre race in the same event a day before.
