Koraput: Seven Maoists, including three women cadres have been arrested from Odisha`s Koraput district, police said today.
They were arrested when the elite special operation group acting on a tip off conducted a raid in the dense forest near Kamalapada and arrested them yesterday, sub-division police officer Y Jagannath Rao said.

Two guns, 20 kg of gelatine sticks, three pairs of rebel uniform, a large quantity of leaflets were also seized by the security personnel, he said.

The ultras were found to have been involved in several criminal activities, Rao added.
