Rourkela: Rourkela Steel plant (RSP) has won the prestigious Srishti Good Green Governance award for the third consecutive year for its environment management. The award was presented to RSP, declared winner in metal sector, during the 6th Srishti Good Green Governance Awards Ceremony held at New Delhi recently, RSP sources said today.
C S Pujari, DGM Incharge, Environment Engineering Department received the award on behalf of RSP. This award was presented in recognition of RSP?s eco-friendly efforts in steel making which includes controlling air pollutant emissions and effluent discharge, maximum waste use, greenery development, water conservation and CSR activities for uplift of needy people.
