Bhubaneswar: Missing information on admit card and roll number mismatch have deprived many aspiring students from appearing the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) here today. Many students were not allowed to enter into their respective examination centres as the roll number on their admit cards were not matching with the centre conducting the examination.

Similarly many alleged that the centre authorities asked them to appear in the second sitting though they were entitled for the first, as per information given on the admit card. Confusion prevailed among the students and guardians as well on how examinees of both the sittings will be accommodated on a single sitting.

Nearly one lakh students are appearing for OJEE this year in 151 centres in the state and 31 outside. As many as 42 centres have been set up in the capital itself.
