Rahul Gandhi begins two-day tour in the state

Bhubaneswar: AICC general secretary Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday reached the state for a two-day trip to several districts to strengthen the grassroots base of the party.

Rahul Gandhi reached at Kotpad village of Koraput at about 9.45am in a helicopter from Jagdalpur in Chhattisgarh.  Rahul interacted with a group of Youth Congress activists at the village.

The party leaders in the state believe that his visit will boost the morale of Congress workers and uplift the party’s position in the state.

Rahul is scheduled to visit Jharsuguda , Mayurbhanj, Bhadrak and Khurda visit.  According to reports, he will also address a public meeting in Bhubaneswar Thursday.
