Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government today started prepaid auto-rickshaw services in Bhubaneswar. Initially, the service will be available in railway station, Baramunda bus stand and KIIT Square.

Special offices have been opened at these key places to facilitate the services to public. Officials said, passengers can avail the service by depositing the amount of fare for their respective destination points in advance at these offices.

State Tourism and Culture minister Ashok Panda inaugurated the service in the presence of Director General of Police Sanjeev Marik, Police Commissioner Rajendra Prasad P Sharma and members of city auto-rickshaw association. More than 300 auto rickshaws have been included in the services.
