Cuttack: As part of its probe into the criminal activities of arrested Dhalasamant brothers, the Commissionerate Police will take four more aides of the criminal siblings on remand for interrogation.

The four associates were identified as Sangram, Bharat, Litua and Pinta.

According to sources, the Commissionerate Police has sought Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate (SDJM) court’s permission to take the associates of the D-brothers on a seven-day remand. A hearing in this regard will be conducted today, the sources added.

The four aides of the arrested siblings were looking after sand auction business. Besides, they were also helping the brothers in extortion and thefts.
