Bhubaneswar: In yet another raid, following the operation to nab PLFI members near Rajgangpur area some ten days back, the CRPF and police have seized huge cache of weapons from a mao camp in Saplaguda forest last night. According to the police, the joint operation along Gajapati-Raygada border succeeded to seize one country made pistol, six land mines, 10 rounds of live cartridges and an electronic detonator.

Acting on a tip-off, the police raided the mao camp near Chandrapur block of Rayagada district but failed to nab the ultras as all of them fled the spot. On July 4, in an encounter with police one PLFI member had died and four others injured in Udugaon along the Odisha-Jharkhand border.
