Bhubaneshwar: Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday again emphasized that the youth should join politics and the Youth Congress in large numbers to develop the nation.

Rahul stated that state government should fulfill the 30 point agenda for the displaced people in Posco project.  He again emphasized that if the displaced people are satisfied then the Congress will support Posco and if they are not we will be with the agitating people.

During the press conference in Bhubaneswar, Rahul Gandhi said that he believes that the Lokpal Bill - meant to combat corruption among politicians and bureaucrats - should not apply to the Prime Minister till he or she completes his term.

The Gandhi scion then attacked the state government by stating that the center has given Odisha Rs 35000 crore under the National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (NREGS) but the scheme has not been properly implemented as the poor women do not have any knowledge about the scheme.

Later when he was asked about Orissa not getting cabinet berth, he said that it was PM’s decision and refused to comment over it.

The Congress MP called for efforts to stop terrorist attacks in the country. "Over the last couple of years we have taken profound steps. We have improved in leaps and bounds. But terrorism is impossible to stop all the time," Gandhi said.

Referring to Wednesday`s attack, Gandhi said the response of the government was prompt. "We are responding to it in a quite organised fashion."
