Seychelles Prez catches glimpse of Sudarsan’s art

Bhubaneswar: President of Seychelles James Alex Michel on Friday had a glimpse of the sand art created by internationally acclaimed sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik of Odisha at the third Seychelles-India Celebrations at Victoria on the occasion of International Non-violence Day.

The sand sculpture depicted the face of Mahatma Gandhi and other symbols of peace and non-violence.

Pattnaik also presented his sand art book to the President of Seychelles.

The Odia sand artist said he along with his two students took two days to complete the sculpture.
