Bhubaneswar: Political parties in Odisha expressed different views on Supreme Court seeking responses of the Centre and the Election Commission on a petition to bring all the national parties under the ambit of the Right To Information Act.
Senior Congress leader Narasingh Mishra said, “All India Congress Committee (AICC) will decide what it will take its stand on the issue in the apex court. An all party meet is needed to decide about it.”
BJD spokesperson Pratap Keshari Deb corroborating the views of Mishra said, “Definitely all party meet is a must before taking such decisions. Besides a parameter must be fixed by the Election Commission which all parties must abide.”
Union tribal affairs minister Jual Oram said, ”My personal opinion is that names of those who are assisting us must be kept secret less it will create problem in democracy.”
