Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s Mines department sent its recommendation for notified area of 2085 acres to Centre, said sources.
The state government would soon send a proposal for non-notified areas soon, they added.
The proposal was sent by the state government within 24 hours of meeting between Posco India CMD G W Sung and Chief secretary GC Pati at State Secretariat here on October 31.
Sung had told mediapersons, “We would not quit. No, never. We have been waiting for 10 years.”
Notably, the state government had sent its proposals for 2085 acres notified and 415 acres non-notified areas together to the Center.
However, Odisha was asked to send different proposals for the two types of areas.
