NIA likely to take part in Puri train fire probe
Bhubaneswar: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) is likely to take up the probe into Puri train fire case, source said on Sunday.
As the main accused Subas is frequently changing his statements, it has become a challenge for investigating agencies to find coherence during questioning.
Earlier in the day, personnel of the State Intelligence department interrogated Subas at SIW office here for hours in presence of officers from GRP and RPF.
Source added during the interrogation of 27-year-old Subas, who is in GRP remand at present, the officials are trying to find out what was the life style of the accused before the incident, why he visited Puri and who else is involved in committing the crime. Besides, the officials are trying to find his connection with either Maoist or terrorist organization.
Notably, Subas does not understand any other language apart from Tamil.
