Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is likely to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi this week, said sources.
Patnaik may also submit a memorandum regarding damages in the state due to cyclone Hudhud last month, they added.
Earlier, the chief minister had written to the PM and demanded an interim aid of Rs 500 crore for relief and rehabilitation works in the state.
Patnaik had also said in the letter after final assessment of damages he would submit a memorandum to the PM.
This would be the CM’s third one-to-one meeting with Modi after he became PM. Patnaik had met Modi on October 6 and June 2 in New Delhi.
