Singapore: Kendrapada MP Baijayant Panda, who was in Singapore today to deliver a keynote address at the 10th anniversary commemoration of the prestigious Institute for South Asian Studies (ISAS), released a commemorative book on Singapore’s founding father Lee Kwan Yew along with Singaporean Finance Minister Heng Swee Keat and Singapore foreign ministry’s Ambassador at large Gopinath Pillai. Keat and Panda were the two keynote speakers at 10th anniversary commemoration of ISAS.
The annual conference dealt with the complex politics and economics of land in all South Asian countries. The event was attended by hundreds of delegates from all over South Asia, Europe and the USA. India’s High Commissioner to Singapore, Vijay Thakur Singh also attended the event, as did former CVC Vinod Rai and former RBI Governor Dr D Subbarao.
The event was jointly organized by ISAS and National University of Singapore.
