Cuttack: The Board of Secondary Education’s (BSE) president DP Nanda on Saturday clarified the news of leak of Odisha Teachers’ Eligibility Test (OTET) is a rumour and the test will be held as per schedule tomorrow in the state.
Nanda added the question papers are safe at eight centers in Gajapati district.
“We spoke to the district administration of Gajapati and found out the sized papers are not question sets but answer papers. As there will be four sets of question booklet in the test, genuineness of answer papers are doubtful,” he added.
Notably, Superintendent of Police (SP) of Gajapati district told media four persons were detained on charges of selling OTET question papers in Tatipiti village under Gurandi police station limits.
OTET will be held tomorrow in two sittings – 10 am-12.30 pm and 2 pm to 4.30 pm.
