Bhubaneswar: Most parts of the State would record heavy rainfall from tomorrow, said the local Met office in a release here today.
According to the release, a cyclonic circulation has formed over northern Madhya Pradesh and southern Uttar Pradesh. Under its influence, heavy rainfall would occur at many places in south and interior and northern districts while rain or thundershower would occur in some parts of the coastal districts in the next 48 hours.
There would be no change in climate till July 23, the Met office predicted.
Fishermen were advised not to venture out to sea in these days, as wind speed will reach at 40 kmph in the coastal belts of the State.
In another development, the Met office said that the State has received a shortfall of 3% monsoon rainfall, as seven states have recorded less than normal showers.
