First GoM meet to implement Odia language Act tomorrow

Bhubaneswar: The first meeting of the Group of Ministers (GoM) to implement the Orissa Official Language Act, 1954, will be held tomorrow. A decision in this regard was taken yesterday by a ministerial committee formed by the government for the purpose.

Committee chairman and School and Mass Education minister Debi Prasad Mishra, Parliamentary Affairs minister Bikram Keshari Arukh, Law minister Arun Sahoo and Information and Public Relation ministers Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak were present in the meeting.

Mishra told mediapersons that the meeting will be held on August 1 as the chief minister had earlier directed them in this regard.
