Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday had a videoconferencing with the collectors of Nabarangpur and Malkangiri districts on infrastructure development.
The chief minister, during interaction with the two collectors, stressed on development of roads, irrigation and power supply network.
He also asked the collectors to take necessary measures on development of communication network in the cut-off areas and fill up vacant posts in health and education departments.
The meeting also set a target for completion of Gurupriya bridge by 2016.
Among others, chief secretary GC Pati, Development Commissioner UN Behera, Additional Chief Secretary, Finance, R Balakrishnan and senior officials of the concerned department were present at the meeting.
Talking to the media after the meeting, the Development Commissioner said the meeting discussed about different development aspects especially on infrastructure and service delivery.
“The chief minister will have a monthly reivew meeting of all access points discussed at the meeting”, he added.
