Dengue cases rise to 481 in State
Bhubaneswar: The total number of dengue cases has increased to 481, informed Health Minister Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak today. With number of persons getting affected with dengue in the State rising, the Health Minister today held a review meeting at the Secretariat. Health department secretary along with other senior officials of the State were present at the meeting.
After the meeting the Health Minister further added that 83 affected persons were under treatment, out of which 65 are admitted in SCB medical Cuttack with eight in ICU.
Nayak claimed that 70 % of the total people diagnosed with dengue were affected outside the State.
