Bhubaneswar: In a bid to make the Plus-II examination faultless and more organised, the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) will initiate more reforms in the process. With the examinations scheduled to be held in March next year, the CHSE is gearing up to ensure that the objectives are achieved.
For the first time, all the answer sheets of Plus-II science stream will be evaluated online. Moreover, the council is also planning to introduce online evaluation in the Commerce stream as well.
We are trying our best to introduce the online evaluation system in Commerce stream as well, said CHSE chairman Basudev Chhatoi.
Moroever, for the safety of question papers, 203 examination management hubs will be set up across the State. The examinations will be conducted in 1084 collegs which have the required infrastructure.
Furthermore, training will be provided to teachers on online evaluation of answer sheets.
According to CHSE sources, a meeting between the principals of prominent colleges and zonal-level officials will be convened soon to discuss the measures to be taken for effective management of the examination.
Notably, online enrollment of students of the current academic session who will sit for the exams next March will start from October 16. For the first time, the college authorities can download the admit cards of the students online.
