The OPA has informed its decision to the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) A N Sinha this evening. "We would however, continue the normal law and order duties and other assignments like crime control", said OPA secretary Sunil Mohanty.

According to sources, Mahtab is now in Japan on an official assignment.
