Bhubaneswar: Prasanjit Patnaik of Kendrapara district has topped in Medical category in the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE), results of which were declared here today.  Similarly Hriday Ranjan Sahu of Bhubaneswar has scored the highest mark in Engineering category while in Pharmacy Ashok Aggarwal has topped the list.  In MBA and MCA Rani Mittal and Rasananda Sahu of Keonjhar have topped respectively.

As many as 63, 634 students have qualified for the Engineering course followed by 16, 859 in Pharmacy, 6, 916 in MBA/PGDM, 3, 535 in MCA and 2,852 in Medical courses. Around one lakh students had appeared in OJEE this year for which the examination was conducted on May 6 and approximately 700 students appeared for M. Pharm conducted on May 13.

According to OJEE officials the rank cards would be sent to the qualified candidates in between 10 and 15 June while the counseling would be held on 3rd week of June. Classes will commence on the 1st week of August, OJEE officials said.
