Bhubaneswar: In a move to  inculcate scientific temper among  students and keep them abreast with the latest happenings in the world of artificial intelligence, the State Government has decided to introduce robotics in the course curriculum of select schools across the state. To start with, the course will be introduced in 10 model schools in different districts.

According to sources, the students will also be imparted training on drone technology.

Talks have already been initiated with a Bangalore-based agency , informed School and Mass Education Secretary,  Pradipta Mohapatra in Bhubaneswar today.

Briefing mediapersons, Mohapatra  said "The aim is to keep our students technologically updated. We had received a proposal regarding the same from a  Bangalore-based company and have decided to go ahead with it. This will help children develop their skills on robotics and artificial intelligence from an early age."
