Bhubaneswar: The results of Plus II Arts and Commerce examinations conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha will be declared by the first week of June, informed School & Mass Education Minister, Badri Narayan Patra today.

The publication of the results will be delayed due to some disruptions in the evaluation process and manual entry of marks, said the Minister.

"We are yet to publish the results of Plus Two Arts and Commerce. The results are getting delayed due to manual entry of marks. Besides, there were various disruptions during the examinations this year, starting from management to evaluation of answer sheets. Last year it was published on May 30 while it will be delayed by five to seven days this year. The results will be out by first week of June," said Patra.

Earlier on May 19, CHSE Odisha had declared results of Plus II Science examinations. After declaration of the results, Patra had informed that the results of Plus II Arts and Commerce are likely to be declared by the last week of May.

It is worthwhile to mention that the Plus-II annual examinations were held in as many as 1,106 centres across the State, this year. A total of 3, 80,707 students of 1,504 colleges had appeared for the examinations which were held between March 6 and March 29 while the Practical exams were held from January 29 to February 8.
