Bhubaneswar: Orissa Cricket Association (OCA) on Sunday congratulated state`s opening batsman Nataraj Behera for being declared the BCCI Under-22 cricketer of the year and announced Rs one lakh cash prize for him.

Natraj would receive the coveted MA Chidambaram Trophy for the session 2009-10, an OCA release said.

Stating that OCA would felicitate him at the opening ceremony of Orissa Premier League (OPL) - 2011 on May 22 at Barabati Stadium in Cuttack, OCA secretary Asirbad Behera announced Rs one lakh cash prize for his achievement in the Under-22 cricket tournament.

The dashing batsman from Rourkela, emerged as the second costliest player of inaugural OPL T20 tournament on being bought by Western Samurai Rourkela for Rs 2.9 lakh in the bidding on Friday.
