New Delhi: Odisha Chief Minister and BJD chief Naveen Patnaik said on Saturday the party has not given any thought about the development regarding the merger of Janata Parivar.

“It’s early days yet. We have not given it that much thought,” said Patnaik who is on a visit to the national capital to attend CMs’ conference on Sunday.

Notably, Patnaik had said last month the party has not decided anything and would wait for future developments.

On December 4, leaders of six political splinter groups of old Janata Parivar came together and decided to form a new party – Samajwadi Janata Dal – to take on BJP both in the Parliament and outside.
