Names of Dharmapada awardees announced

Bhubaneswar: After seven long years, the State Culture department has announced the winners of the Dharmapada award for all the seven years, to be conferred by the Odisha Lalit Kala Akademy.

For the year 2009 Patta Chitra artist Gokul Bihari Patnaik, for 2010 painter and theatre artist Asim Basu, for 2011 Dr. Durga Prasad Das, for 2012 sculptor and Padma Shri Sudarshan Sahu, for 2013 painter Jatin Das, for 2014 painter Dinanath Pathi, and for 2015 Padma Bibhushan Dr. Raghunath Mohapatra have been nominated for the award.

The names of the awardees were revealed by the Culture and Tourism minster Ashok Panda.
