Bhubaneswar: A senior official of Indian Bureau of Mines (IBM) has gone missing since Monday, his wife informed the Infocity police on Tuesday night.
 
Sources added Ibrahim Sharif who hails from Bengaluru in Karnataka and works with IBM here has been untraceable after he left for his office at 9 am on Monday.
 
The 2-wheeler used by Sharif has been found parked in front of a local private hospital, sources said. The mobile phone of the official has been switched off for the past two days.
 
Sharif lives with his family in Kanan Vihar here. 
 
The Infocity police are probing the matter based on the inputs provided by the official’s wife.
