Phulbani: A cache of IEDs hidden by Maoists in a pit were found on Tuesday by CRPF personnel during operations in Kandhamal district.

The IEDs, tiffin bombs, soap case bombs, detonators and wires were found in a pit near Pakari village under Kotagarh police station, Commandant of CRPF 8th Battallion at Muniguda, Dinesh Kumar Singh said.

One of the IEDs found weighed 20 kg, two were of 10 kg and another of about five kg, he said.
