Bhubaneswar: Institute of Chartered Accountants of India today proposed to set up a Centre of Excellence in Odisha. The proposal in this regard was given by the organisation`s all India President Jaydip N Shah when he met Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik here.

"They requested the state government to provide 10 acres of land in the state capital for building the centre here," an official said adding that similar institutes were established in Jaipur, Bangalore and Hyderabad. The financial employees working in both government and private sectors could be trained in the proposed institute, he said.
