Human sacrifice alleged behind boy's death

Kendrapara: In a chilling incident, a seven-year-old boy was found dead with his throat slit in Kendrapara. The parents of the deceased boy have alleged the incident as an act of human sacrifice.

The deceased have been identified as Bikram, son of Pradip Nayak of Gokhapada village. Bikram was untraceable since Monday and the family members lodged a complaint with Marshaghai police.

However, the dead body of Bikram was found yesterday night on the bank of Luna river. After getting information, police rushed to the spot and began investigations.

Preliminary investigations revealed that Bikram’s throat has been slit by a sharp-edged weapon. Police have detained one Muna Choudhary for questioning in this regard.
