Bhubaneswar: Senior leaders of Congress today participated in the "Chintan Sivir" convened by the newly appointed Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee president Prasad Harichandan.

"The camp is being held to keep the house in order before taking on the ruling BJD and opposition BJP," senior Congress leader and former chief minister Hemananda Biswal said.

Today?s session of the party was split in four sub-sessions. In the first sub-session, Harichandan is holding discussions with the senior leaders of the party on the future programmes to be implemented in the village level.

The second session involved talks with the 16 party MLAs, the third with the AICC member, office bearers and leaders of front organizations and the last session with former MLAs and MPs of the party.

The AICC in-charge of the party in Odisha BK Hariprasad and his deputy Subhankar Sarkar are also attending the camp.

"All senior leaders are individually sharing their opinions on how to strengthen the party in the state," Rajya Sabha MP Ranjib Biswal said.

Former OPCC president Niranjan Patnaik, former Union Minister Srikant Jena and many others also attended the camp.Srikant Jena and many others also attended the camp.
